Opportunity for One-On-One Discipleship - Are you a mature follower of Jesus willing to disciple a young or new Christian one-on-one? Is this passion already working in your heart? If so, you are invited to a meeting on December 7, immediately following the second service, in Room D-139. 

Join the Ambassador Ministry!  Do you have forty minutes a month to represent SGT on Sunday mornings as one of its Ambassadors? This satisfying ministry has already begun but we have room for many more! If you are interested, call Anna Choy at the church office (265-2485 Ext. 112.

DivorceCare – a Christ-centered support group for those walking through the pain of divorce meets Wednesdays at 7:30 pm, room A207.  Call Richard for details at 631-406-7508.

Beauty for Ashes – This post-abortion healing ministry is an ongoing ministry where God heals the brokenhearted.  Meets every Wednesday, 7:00-8:30 pm in Annex 4.

SCS Open House 2/3/15: It’s not too late to start your journey to a great education for your kids. Smithtown Christian School, Happy Time Pre School (3 & 4 year-old Programs) & Early Learning Center (ages 3-6) will be hosting an Open House on February 3rd at 9am and 7pm. Joyful Singers Children’s Choir – Signups will be held starting next Sunday, February 8.  This is for children in grades K-6 (ages 5-12). Rehearsals begin on Friday, February 27th at 6:00-7:30 pm in the auditorium.

Clean Slate Ministry – Bowl-a-Rama fundraiser to help the Clean Slate Ministry “strike out” addictions, bullying, and suicide among youth and young adults. February 22, 3-5pm at AMF Lanes, 200 Landing Ave., Smithtown - $30/pp donation includes unlimited bowling.

Senior Saints (60+) – Bus trip to Sight & Sound to see Joseph on June 9. $100/pp.  Limited seating available.  Information is available at the Ministry Counter.

New Friends Connection offers an extended opportunity for those who are newest to SGT to learn more about the church and how to get connected. It meets the last Sunday of the month in the SCS Conference Room immediately after the second service. For directions or more information about NFC, simply stop by the Information Desk. Nursing Home Ministry:  We need a pianist for Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30, who is able to play hymns to be sung each week at the Nursing Home services. Contact Pastor Ted at ext. 102.


Food Pantry Needs:  We especially need this month: grape Jelly, canned beans, toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste, and laundry detergent.  Donations (nonperishable) are always gratefully accepted!
